PEG-30 lanolin is prepared by the addition of refined lanolin and ethylene oxide by reacting 30 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of lanolin and has an average molecular weight of about 1990. PEG-30 lanolin is a good O/W emulsifier and also an effective solubilizer, wetting agent and cleaning agent. PEG-30 lanolin is used as emulsifier, regulator and emollient in shampoo, detergent, hair dye, hand cream, detergent preparation, etc. Provides the detergent system with ultra-fat and foam stabilization benefits and reduces erythema and barrier damage caused by surfactants.
